What is this website? The aim is just to help some other people find some more music to listen to, nothing more. Its not designed to be the definitive "this is the truth" like Rolling Stones top 500 or something. This especially applies to the ratings, which are just purely my own current feelings and can change. Its also limited to the stuff I have heard myself, which is never going to be comprehensive, because its not possible for a single person to hear all the music in the world in one lifetime (can you believe it??). I'm only listing the stuff that I've heard and liked enough to want to listen to it some more.
I'm planning to improve the site a lot over time, future bigger plans include a classical music section and artist pages plus maybe some sort of light-hearted blog. I'm not planning to write lengthy "critiques" however, I'm not a music expert. I'm also not going to bother rating things I don't enjoy listening to. If it's not listed, it either means I don't like it, or it means I haven't heard it or got to like it yet, nothing more. I will rate things as soon as I like them, so other music from the same albums may come along later on. Planned changes also include a track details page, so its more clear which particular version of a song I'm recommending, and album and artist pages.
I will be aiming to add more recommendations once every week, these will be listed in the changes archive in case you miss a week.
